Folders nest three levels deep. Open copy on a search result opens the saved chat at the matching message. An open panel no longer covers the chat or the composer. Removed chats stay removed; a history pull no longer brings them back. Saved answers keep their paragraphs, lists, code and links. ChatGPT's source chips no longer add their labels to the saved text.

The Upgrade view lists the ways to pay: card or PayPal, and Visa or Mastercard in Pakistan and Bangladesh, where PayPal is not available. Errors show in place, next to the control that caused them, and short notices float over the page without moving it. Panels, lists and messages open and close with short motion. With reduced motion turned on in your system, they change at once. The founding code is copied only when you pick 12 months or lifetime, the passes it applies to.

Ctrl+K (Cmd+K on a Mac) opens a search over every saved chat on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok. Results come grouped by site with the matched words marked; site:, folder:, tag:, before: and after: are chips you can add and remove. Enter opens the chat, Ctrl or Cmd+Enter opens the saved copy, Tab files it into a folder, the arrows and j and k move, Esc closes and gives the page its focus back. The panel is a dock on the right edge of the page, 380 px wide, that collapses to a 40 px rail. It lists Pinned, Folders and Not filed under the search; j and k walk the list, x selects a row and m goes to Move. The selection bar stays at the top of the list and offers Move, Export, Tag and Remove. Remove takes chats out of the library with their saved text; Undo brings back the chats, their folder, pin and tags. The popup shows the plan, one line of capture health, the last five chats, Open library and Import export file. A locked control says what is locked in one line, for example "Bulk export: Pro pass", and opens the Upgrade view at that feature. A founding price code, shown with a Copy button under the passes when one is set, and a renew code beside Buy again once a pass has ended. The panel and the pages use the system font and one accent colour; no font is bundled. A pulled chat is dated by when it was last updated, so Not filed, folders and search list the newest first, and the oldest chats are the ones dropped at the 5,000 limit. Pull history writes its place after each chat and its list every 50, not the whole list each time. Stop ends a request that is still waiting, a request gives up after 30 seconds, and the Stop button and Esc work with the section closed. A hidden tab is named, because the browser slows it. Folder sync keeps to the Free folder limit on every round, not only the first. Content scripts read a list of saved chat keys instead of the whole storage area. Removed chats no longer leave their summaries behind. Pull history on ChatGPT and Claude reads your whole conversation list and each conversation through the site's own pages, one request every 1.5 seconds, on your click. It shows "n of m", stops on Stop or Esc, resumes where it stopped, skips chats already up to date, and stops with one line on a slow-down or refusal from the site. Import reports the library before and after, "Library 1,204 to 1,893 chats". Importing the same export again adds nothing; a later export adds the new chats and updates the changed ones. Only the last import is kept, with Undo last import. Search covers every saved chat on all four sites. site:, folder:, tag:, before: and after: narrow the list, "quotes" match a phrase, and titles that match best come first, then newer chats. The index follows each saved chat instead of being rebuilt. Tags on chats, searched with tag:. Capture health per site: chats saved, when the last one was saved, read errors in the last 7 days, and "changed" when the site's page no longer matches what Chatshelf reads. Exports are built by the options page: Markdown, JSON or one HTML file for a chat, a folder or a set of search results, and a zip of the whole library. A chat exports on any plan, the trial included; the library, a folder and a set need a paid pass. Sync folders between browsers, off until you turn it on. Folder names, colours and which folder each chat is in go to the browser's sync storage in compact form; Chatshelf says when it is full. One-line summaries made by the browser's built-in summariser, off until you turn them on, in browsers that have one. The plan has three limits: 8 folders, text search over the 100 newest chats, and bulk export. Prompts, answer clips, moving many chats, auto-file rules, the daily archive opens and print-ready HTML no longer have a limit. The saved text of chats in a backup is part of bulk export: it needs a paid pass. Free searches the text of your 100 newest chats. Site scan keeps one list per site (one per signed-in account on Gemini) and drops the account naming and comparison lists. Usage counts, AI tags and summaries, and the in-app suggestion form are gone. Email us instead. Ask all three, the list of earlier imports and the Not seen list are gone. The privacy page states the 5,000-chat limit and the history pull. Search narrows to a capture date with saved:2026-10, saved:2026-10-14 or saved:>2026-10-01. Auto-file rules can match a title that starts with a word, or holds several words in any order. The panel shows "Last backup 20 d ago" once a recorded backup is 14 days old. Open copy on the shelf and in search results opens a reader for the saved chat, with Markdown, code blocks, Copy message, Copy conversation and Export as Markdown, JSON or HTML. It works for chats not open on the site. Free folder limit holds for Undo and restore: only what was just removed comes back past the limit. A content script can only name the site it runs on.

The popup shows "N more matches in older chats" on Free before the trial starts. Importing again refreshes chats that grew in the export; a longer duplicate in one file wins. Import reads the export zip directly, several files at once, with Cancel and Remove this import. The import report lists what was not carried: images, files, tool and thinking blocks, cut chats. Claude artifacts and attachment text are kept as fenced text; images read [image]; a cut shows a line. Results read "50 of 86" with Show more in the popup. Search ignores accents and case, "quotes" match a phrase, and site:, folder:, tag: and has:gaps narrow the list. Search runs on an index of saved chats; large libraries answer at once, with Indexing progress and Rebuild. The page shelf shows the match count and Show more; tags and summaries are searched there too. The empty popup and the welcome page link to Import ChatGPT or Claude history. Exports name what the import could not carry, in the file header. The last five imports stay listed with their counts after the tab closes; an interrupted import can be removed or kept. Removing an import puts the chats it updated back as they were. A notice before an import that is larger than the room left in the library. A chat saved from a page that shows fewer messages no longer shortens an imported copy. Restoring a backup without chat text says so. On Firefox, turning on AI tags asks before chat text is sent. Suggest folders reads the chats you filed and proposes a folder for each chat not filed, on this device. A review list with Accept, Change and None per chat, Accept all, and keys j k u a c n. Undo puts every chat from a batch back, also after the page was closed. The popup links to the batch when chats are not filed.

After activation the yearly pass is named 1 year, as on the Upgrade view. Upgrade from a lock opens one settings tab, scrolled to Licence, never a pile of them. The lock popover puts the keyboard focus on Upgrade; Esc returns to the locked button. The trial is stated once; the line after the trial ends carries Upgrade. The popup fits its width during a trial. The site states that the year pass runs from the day you buy it. The Upgrade panel lists what Pro unlocks. The site offers Lifetime first, as the extension does, and both buttons read "Get ...". The site's trial note is short. Backup option reads "1 chat" for a single chat. The key steps on the site and receipt name Upgrade and the Licence key field.
