When AI Toolbox is the better pick
Pick AI Toolbox if you need to search or export your whole history from day one, if you use Grok in Edge, or if you want a product with hundreds of reviews behind it. Chatshelf only knows the text of chats you open after installing it, and it has no reviews yet.
When Chatshelf is the better pick
Pick Chatshelf if you want your folders and chat text to stay on your computer, with no account and no session token leaving the browser, or if you want Lifetime at €99 to cover all its sites instead of $199. Free is enough for eight folders.
Moving from another folder tool
In AI Toolbox, export a backup, then choose it under AI Toolbox folders in Options. Your folders can be saved as one JSON file with Backup.
